- Updating the app to the latest version
- Restarting the app, then the device

- Checking that the permissions the feature needs are enabled in iOS Settings
Common questions — all apps
Managing a subscription. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
Requesting a refund. Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We're glad to help with the underlying problem first.
Restoring a purchase. Use the “Restore” option on the app's purchase screen, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on.
The app crashes. Update to the latest version, or delete and reinstall. Purchases restore automatically; content saved only on the device may be lost.
Prayer & Qibla apps
Qibla direction looks wrong. Enable Location Services, then calibrate the compass by moving the phone in a figure-of-eight. Keep clear of magnets, metal desks and cases with magnetic closures.
Prayer times look wrong. Check your location and the calculation method in the app's settings — different methods legitimately give different times for the same place.
Reminders aren't arriving. Allow Notifications in iOS Settings, and check that a Focus mode or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing them.
App blocking — Salah Lock & Reclaim
Blocking isn't working. Open iOS Settings › Screen Time and confirm the app still has permission. If you removed it, re-grant it in the app's setup screen and pick your apps again — iOS discards the old selection.
Blocked apps still open. Blocking relies on Apple's Screen Time framework, which needs a moment to apply after a schedule starts. Restart the device if a block seems stuck.
Can you see which apps I block? No. Apple hands us anonymous tokens rather than app names, so your selections and your usage are invisible to us and never leave your device.
Removing a block. You can always turn blocking off in the app, or revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings. These are habit tools, not parental controls or security software.
AI assistants
The answer looks wrong. AI answers are generated automatically and can be mistaken. Treat them as a starting point, never as a ruling — verify anything that matters with a qualified scholar.
Does my question leave the phone? In Hajj AI Assistant, no — it answers offline. In Hisnul Muslim AI and Sawm AI, the text of your question is sent to an AI provider to generate the reply. Details are in our Privacy Policy. Please don't type personal or medical details into it.
Is my cycle or prayer data sent to the AI? No. Cycle entries, prayer and fasting logs and Screen Time selections are never shared with the assistant or with anyone else.
Smart TV Remote & Casting
No televisions found. Allow Local Network access in iOS Settings, and make sure the phone and the TV are on the same Wi-Fi network — not a guest network, and not one band isolated from another.
The pairing code is rejected. Enter the code exactly as shown on the television. If the code disappears from the TV screen, tap “Start Over” in the app to request a fresh one.
Casting shows a black screen. Some televisions can't decode certain formats. The app converts photos and videos automatically, but very large files take a moment to prepare.
Screen mirroring. Apple does not permit third-party apps to mirror the iPhone screen to anything other than AirPlay receivers. For other brands, use the mirroring feature built into the television itself.
